     John Ford Goodrich was the son of Moses Goodrich.¹

     Randolph C. Goodrich was the son of John Ford Goodrich.¹

     Transcribed from Case: "lives at Chateauguay, N.Y., and has four sons; so says Mrs. Marion Goodrich Whiting of No. 16 Slater Ave., Cleveland, O."¹

     Research Note: It is interesting to note that the Mrs. Marion Goodrich Whiting mentioned above is not in the Case book at all. The name does imply that Goodrich was her maiden name, so it is very curious that she is not in this book.²

     Augustus J. Goodrich was born on 27 November 1818 at LeRoy, New York.¹

     Transcribed from Case: "went to St. Paul, Minn., after living in several places in Michigan, about 1862; was associated with his brothers in the management of the Pioneer for several years, having charge of the business department, which he conducted with marked ability and success. Later he became interested in the control and management of the St. Paul Gas Company, of which he was the secretary and treasurer for about fifteen years; then retiring with a competence. He was president of the board of trustees and a prominent member of the First M.-E. Church, and one of its most influential and generous supporters."²

     Effie Goodrich was the daughter of Rev. George W. Goodrich.¹ Her married name was Stone.¹ She married (?) Stone.¹ She resided at Alpha, Iowa.¹

     (?) Stone married Effie Goodrich, daughter of Rev. George W. Goodrich.¹

     Addie Goodrich was the daughter of Rev. George W. Goodrich.¹ Her married name was Manies.¹ She married (?) Manies.¹ She resided at Richfield, Iowa.¹

     (?) Manies married Addie Goodrich, daughter of Rev. George W. Goodrich.¹

     Thomas Goodrich was born on 10 September 1780.¹ He married Esther Freeman on 9 May 1802.¹

     Research Note: Case states that Thomas was one of the first settlers of Lincoln, Vermont.¹

     Esther Freeman was born on 17 September 1781.¹ As of 9 May 1802,her married name was Goodrich.¹ She married Thomas Goodrich on 9 May 1802.¹

     Lyman Goodrich was born on 7 March 1804.¹ He was the son of Thomas Goodrich and Esther Freeman.¹ He died on 1 November 1888 at age 84.¹

     Phebe Goodrich was born on 30 July 1806.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Goodrich and Esther Freeman.¹
